Getting licensed in Ohio
To obtain your Ohio Real Estate Salesperson License, you need to meet the state's educational requirements of 120 hours of pre-licensing courses, select a sponsoring broker for mentorship and support and complete the required procedures, such as fingerprinting and a background check. Then, schedule and prepare for the licensing exam. It's crucial to follow the division's instructions to ensure a smooth licensing process.
Choosing a brokerage
When exploring different brokerages for your real estate career, I recommend interviewing at least three to get a well-rounded perspective. It's important to keep in mind that different individuals have unique needs, goals and values, and what may be ideal for one may not align with the preferences of another. Ask questions about the brokerages mission, values, training, support and reputation to make an informed decision.
